Until we, as a ...I totally agree with you, uncle. <br /><br />Until we, as a population, learn self-discipline, true development will always elude us. Sometimes I wonder how different our nation would have been if we had followed Gandhi's model of development rather than Nehru's. <br />In aping western notions of industrialisation, we lost out on an opportunity to find an Indian method of development. <br /><br />Arguably, Chinese industrialisation has come at a great cost to their environment and individual well-being. However, their development has remained true to their roots. As a member of this "next generation" I am sacrificing fortune in the private sector to find answers for our nation as part of the civil services.
